We are completely committed to the care and safety of our patients and have an exceptionally high success rate, however there are still potential risks and complications associated with every LASIK procedure.
FDA approval
We only use FDA approved devices, such as the excimer laser and femtosecond laser equipment. The FDA has conducted high numbers of clinical trials to expand the treatment parameters of approved lasers, meaning more complex surgeries can be performed. This also means it is now rare for a patient not to be a suitable candidate for LASIK surgery.
Doctor-patient transparency
As part of our belief in forming a trusting relationship between eye doctor and patient, we will always be honest with you. Potential risks will be explained during your consultation and we will advise you accordingly, with your best interests at heart.
Every patient is unique
We believe that every patient who visits us is unique. Your lifestyle, eye health, and general health are all factors in deciding which Lasik procedure is right for you. We can’t guarantee that you won’t need to wear glasses or contact lenses for specific activities after undergoing laser surgery, but we will always do everything in our power to improve your vision as much as possible and give you the most positive outcome.
