Dr. Alsheikh’s Career Journey

Dr. Alsheikh was raised in Houston, Texas, and received his medical degree from Texas Tech Health Science Center. After this, he went on to complete his residency in ophthalmology at Oregon Health Science Center, followed by a corneal fellowship at University of California in San Diego. His career then took him back to Texas where he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

He now lives in San Antonio with his wife and son. He is the Medical Director here at TLC San Antonio, and he is committed to utilizing the latest technologies, such as ORange(R) intraoperative wavefront aberrometry, to give his patients excellent possible outcomes.
